RITE-WAY AUTO RECONDITIONING
MASTER SERVICE AGREEMENT, TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: 12/12/2024
By scheduling services, paying a deposit, approving an estimate, signing electronically, or authorizing work to begin, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and conditions.
CANCELLATION POLICY & DEPOSITS
Rite-Way Auto Reconditioning may require a deposit to reserve your service appointment.
ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Deposits are collected to reserve technician time, shop availability, scheduling resources, and materials associated with your appointment.
Deposits may be applied toward a future appointment if the service is rescheduled within thirty (30) days of the original appointment date.
Customers cancelling within forty-eight (48) hours of their scheduled appointment, failing to appear for their appointment, or failing to communicate with our office may forfeit the ability to transfer or apply their deposit to another service date.
Customers requesting to reschedule must speak directly with a member of our office team to verify and confirm their rescheduled appointment.
Voicemails, text messages, emails, social media messages, or other communications do not constitute confirmation of a rescheduled appointment unless acknowledged and approved by a Rite-Way Auto Reconditioning team member.
Deposits not used within thirty (30) days of the original scheduled appointment date shall be considered forfeited.
AUTHORIZATION TO PERFORM SERVICES
Customer authorizes Rite-Way Auto Reconditioning, its employees, representatives, subcontractors, and agents to perform the services selected, estimated, or approved.
Any additional services discovered to be necessary during the course of work will require customer authorization prior to being completed.
Customer certifies they are the registered owner of the vehicle or otherwise have authority to approve services.
VEHICLE CONDITION DISCLOSURE
Customer agrees to disclose any known defects, repainting, prior body repairs, aftermarket modifications, mechanical issues, or pre-existing damage prior to service.
Rite-Way Auto Reconditioning is not responsible for damages, defects, or failures resulting from:
• Previous collision repairs
• Repainted panels
• Failing clear coat
• Thin paint conditions
• Existing scratches, chips, dents, stains, or imperfections
• Aftermarket accessory installations
• Age-related wear and deterioration
Customers are encouraged to inspect their vehicle with a team member before and after service.
CERAMIC COATINGS, ROCKLEAR & SURFACE PROTECTION
Protective coatings, including ceramic coatings, Rocklear coatings, waxes, sealants, and similar products, are intended to provide enhanced gloss, easier maintenance, and improved resistance to environmental contaminants.
These products do not prevent:
• Rock chips
• Scratches
• Abrasions
• Accidents
• Neglect
• Improper maintenance
• Vandalism
• Normal wear and tear
Performance and longevity vary based on environmental conditions, vehicle usage, washing practices, and maintenance procedures.
Manufacturer warranties may require periodic inspections and maintenance services to remain valid.
Failure to follow manufacturer recommendations may void warranty coverage.
RUSTPROOFING DISCLAIMER
Rustproofing products are designed to reduce corrosion and slow the progression of rust.
Rustproofing cannot guarantee complete prevention of rust formation.
Vehicles with existing corrosion, rust, body repairs, hidden damage, factory defects, or untreated corrosion may continue to deteriorate despite treatment.
Periodic inspections and maintenance applications may be recommended.
PAINT CORRECTION DISCLAIMER
Paint correction improves the appearance of paint defects but cannot guarantee complete removal of all scratches, swirls, etching, water spots, or imperfections.
Some defects may be too deep to safely remove without compromising the integrity of the paint system.
Results will vary depending on paint thickness, condition, age, and previous repair history.
COMPLETION DATES
Estimated completion times are provided as a courtesy only and are not guaranteed.
Completion dates may be affected by:
• Product curing requirements
• Material availability
• Additional corrective work
• Weather conditions
• Mechanical concerns
• Staffing limitations
• Supplier delays
Rite-Way Auto Reconditioning shall not be liable for losses, damages, or expenses resulting from delays in service completion.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
Customers are responsible for removing all valuables, cash, firearms, ammunition, electronics, jewelry, and personal belongings from their vehicle prior to service.
Rite-Way Auto Reconditioning is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property left inside the vehicle.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment in full is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods may include:
• Cash
• Credit Cards
• Financing Programs
• Electronic Payments
• Approved Third-Party Financing Providers
Failure to remit payment may result in collection efforts, legal action, late fees, storage fees, or other remedies permitted by law.
STORAGE & ABANDONED VEHICLES
Vehicles remaining at our facility more than seven (7) days after completion without prior arrangements may be subject to storage fees.
Vehicles left unclaimed beyond applicable legal limits may be handled in accordance with Michigan law.
PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE
Customer grants Rite-Way Auto Reconditioning permission to photograph and record the serviced vehicle for marketing, educational, advertising, social media, website, and promotional purposes.
No personal identifying information will be shared without permission.
Customers wishing to opt out must notify management in writing prior to service.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Customer agrees that Rite-Way Auto Reconditioning’s maximum liability arising from services performed shall not exceed the amount paid for those services.
Rite-Way Auto Reconditioning shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, or special damages.
